How to turn aerobic exercise into a powerful fat melting session

Aerobic exercise aka Cardio, is one of the most efficient ways to torch the fat and get in shape. In conjunction with weight lifting, you can supercharge your metabolism and control your weight just by adding a few extra minutes at the end of your workout to run on the treadmill.

But the way most people do their aerobic exercise, can turn into a waste of time and it can even be unsafe. I bet you know of whom I'm talking about, you've seen them at the gyms, doing non-sense stuff like reading a newspaper or book, watching TV, and holding on to the handles of the treadmill for dear life or talking on their cell phones. Very little sweat and effort going on here and it’s reflected in the results.

What I found out, through personal experience, is that a cardio workout can be a fun, effective and challenging way to torch fat, when done correctly. Let me explain...

I make it a challenge to myself to see how far I can safely push myself, and that includes aerobic exercise. I look for new ways to add intensity and decrease the amount time working out while keeping or increasing the level of effectiveness. Intensity is the key here.

Be Creative

If I'm traveling, a pair of running shoes is always part of my travel essentials. You can jog or walk pretty much anywhere. Walking or running uphill adds intensity and makes my workouts more interesting.

I've even used the stairs at some hotels to run up and down. During one of my stairs running workouts, while wearing headphones, I was chased up the steps by two hotel security guards wondering what was going on, by the time they caught up to me, they were so out of breath, they just figure it out and went back to their guard shack.

Keep it interesting

Ellipticals are also used frequently to vary my workouts and make them interesting. By increasing their elevation and/or letting go of the handles, the intensity also increases and I get a better, more intense workout in less time.

A Kick Butt Workout

Cardio Kickboxing Workouts are very intense and fun. The fat burning and muscle toning benefits are just two of the rewards of kicking and punching while working out.

10 easy ways to improve your cardio training and decrease workout time:

1-Jumping rope is an amazing cardio exercise that you can do anywhere and with just a jump rope. If you don't think jump rope is worth it, look at the training and the stamina of any serious boxer.

2-When working out on treadmills, exercise bikes or elliptical machines, increase the intensity by letting go of the handles.

3-If you are also lifting weights during the same workout session, do cardio last, even if you have to take a short rest.

4-You can do sprints on the treadmill and even add elevation to them.

5- Work on decreasing your rest between sets and exercises.

6-Add cardio interval training to your routines.

    7-Challenge yourself safely.

8-Walking can be an acceptable substitute for jogging or biking, just curl some dumbbells while you walk to add intensity.

9-Swimming is one of the most intense and fun cardio exercises you can find, enjoy it anytime you get a chance.

10-Keep boredom away by chanllenging your muscles and cardiovascular system with a circuit training routine.

Creativity is often necessary when I’m away from home, but I’ve learned that I can create a workout anywhere, intensity and safety are the rules.

You can easily design your own cardio workouts anywhere, anytime without equipment.Don't skip the aerobics,Just do it!
